wineries Arrayán arose as the personal project of the businessman Jose Maria Entrecanales and Maria Marsans in his estate " La Verdosa", in Santa Cruz del Retamar, Toledo.
wineries Arrayán was born with ambition: it was a question of creating a vineyard based on the innovative wine-growing technologies that, it was perfectly integrated to the ecosystem of the Mediterranean pasture and that it was capable of producing wines of high quality and personality.
For it, the famous Australian expert, Richard Smart, realized an exhaustive study of the relief, the soil, the climate, the exhibitions and more favorable orientations and the varieties that more were adapted to the looked object.
In 1999 there begins the plantation of the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot, respecting in his integrity the autochthonous forest of oaks that surrounds and splashes the vineyard.
The first crop was started commercializing at the end of the year 2003. Since then, the family of wines of Arrayán has been growing until possess, at present, an excellent line composed by four red wines with upbringing in oak, two of them monovarietales - Arrayán Syrah, and Arrayán Petit Verdot; and two coupages of four varieties: Arrayán Selection and Arrayán Premium - as well as for a young wine: Pink Arrayán .
