After the first stage of success in the D.O. Toro with the Winery Numanthia Termes, the family Eguren made real his dream of founding a new Winery in 2009: Teso La Monja.
A Winery from which there are elaborated wines of prestige, a few elegant wines, by the force of the former and famous wines of Toro , but by a more fruity, thin and elegant palate.
A Winery of luxury that brings together to the perfection the most modern and current vision at the moment of elaborating big wines on a few foundations based on the experience, the history and the good one to do.

Viñedos propios prefiloxéricos de Valmediano, La Jara y Marinacea situados en Toro (Zamora). Cultivo del viñedo respetuoso con el entorno y el medio ambiente, con mínima intervención, una perfecta adaptación al ‘terroir’ y sin la utilización de herbicidas ni productos sistémicos, en consonancia con los biorritmos de la naturaleza. Vendimia manual exhaustiva en cajas, con selección manual de racimos en óptimas condiciones de maduración y sanitarias en viñedo y en bodega mediante una doble cinta de selección.Despalillado manual, selección grano a grano. Fermentación alcohólica: Fermentado en depósitos abiertos durante 10 días a 26 ºC. Pisado tradicional y remontados muy suaves. Maceración Post-fermentativa: 14 días. Fermentación maloláctica: En barrica nueva de roble francés (100%). Envejecimiento de 18 meses en otra barrica nueva de roble francés (100%). Trasiegos cada 4 meses.
