In Sarral's municipal area, in the Conca de Barberà, generations of the family Cabestany they devoted themselves to the culture of the grapevine and to the production of wines. The inheritors of these vineyards, Josefina and Lidia Cabestany, yielded Pello Ruiz Cabestany, son of Lidia, the management of these vineyards of noble varieties.
With the clear idea of betting for the quality instead of the quantity, Pello began this managerial adventure supporting the traditional methods of the zone and the handcrafted production of the wines and the champaign, but investing in the advice of expert enologists and in the application of the current technologies enológicas. The production of our wines begins in the moment which the first vine-stock reached, with the idea of obtaining a few vineyards of scanty production that in the last years provide a fruit of high quality. To obtain it an exhaustive follow-up is had of each one of the estates from the moment of the pruning until the same day of the vintage. Once in the winery there will be selected the best items that will go with the commercialized wines.
