Climate

In general, we can speak about a Mediterranean climate of transition between that of the coast, given the relative proximity to the sea, softer and own about the of Tarragona regions, and the continental one, more rigorous, cold in winter and very warmly in summer, typically about the regions ilerdenses. The modest altitude of Miramar's saw and the strait of the Riba allow a certain influence of the humid and moderate winds of the sea, but on the other hand, the marked thermal winter investments accentuate the frosts in the deepest parts of the region. All this does that the winters are cold and the not very warm summers, existing a thermal notable differential between the day and the night. The annual pluviometría is of the order of 450-550 mm, with the following seasonal regime of bigger than minor rainfall: autumn - primavera-verano-invierno. As for temperatures it refers, the annual average places between the 13 and 14ºC, with maxims in summer that the 35ºC can overcome and minims in winter frequently below the 0ºC. The received sunstroke is about the 2.500 h/año.
