Founded in 1929
In the privileged enclave of the "Conca de l'Anoia" they find the wine-cellars and Bohigas's vineyards, in Can Macià, who is the name with the one that is named the estate. Khan Macià where the same family, for more than four centuries, cultivates his vineyards in 60 hectares of flat areas of moderate height, under the influence of the river Anoia, receives the varieties Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parellada and Chardonnay for later and after a wise rest, to there offer us the exchequer of his wine-cellars. Also there are born, in estates of our property, the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cariñena.
With more than 600 years of antiquity Can Macià, classified of Historical and artistic Interest is, undoubtedly, one of the most ancient estates of Catalonia estimated by the beauty of his buildings; concretely the house pairal supports the authentic style of Lordly Catalan Farmhouse, which interior guards furniture and ceramic decorations of long ago, next to the same one we find a chapel constructed in 1922 decorated with Josep Pey's fresh air in devotion the virgin of the Mercè. The estate possesses in addition a modernist source and a small reservoir of the same epoch, of singular beauty.
