AOC Saint-Émilion
He is considered one of the major wine regions of Bordeaux on Médoc, Graves and Pomerol.
Its 5,400 hectares representing 67.5% of the total area of ??the communes producing (Saint Emilion, Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, Saint-Hippolyte, Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse, Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, Saint d'Armens Pey, Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, Vignonet, and part of the town of Libourne) and 6% of the entire Bordeaux vineyard.

Soil
The part of Saint-Émilion Area sits on a plateau cut by valleys, dominated by limestone, with green clay containing carbonate and feldspathic sand.
The southern part consists of several terraces of sand and gravel.
Climate
Temperate ocean.
Red Varieties
Major: Merlot (60% of the vines) and cabernet franc (about 30%) also being used relatively small amounts of cabernet sauvignon (about 10%).
Types wine
- Red wine. Merlot provides aromas of red and black fruits, brings roundness and opulence. Cabernet Franc is the basis of finesse and elegance. Cabernet Sauvignon contributes to longevity with spicy tannins.
