Ysios Reserva
Winery located in the most beautiful area of La Rioja, in the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria. The winery, designed by Santiago Calatrava, is a gem of architecture. The Ysios winemaker, Luis Zudaire leaves nothing to chance, and their wines are the result of a continuous process that starts selections in the strain itself. To prepare Ysios Reserva 2006 "we conduct a thorough inspection of maturity of different terroirs, finally defined based on these controls and tasting the grape harvest the optimum time. In wine is fermented in conical tanks, from where Luis tracks directly polyphenolic tasting and evaluating wine evolution. Subsequently, the 2006 Reserva is aged for 15 months in oak barrels mainly French and Hungarian, half of them new. The rest of the time remained in the bottle, offering an aging potential of over 10 years.
