From his foundation in 1975, PARATO has had an only aim: to offer wines and wine-cellars of quality and prestige, bringing together modern technologies and systems of vinificación traditionally.
The familiar wine tradition goes back to last century when the family ELIAS, owner of vineyards in the zone of Montjuïch's mountain (Barcelona), decided vinificar his crops incorporating into his Farmhouse a press of vintage. From this moment not only the grape of the family vinificaba, but in addition many neighbors were bringing his grape to pressing.
Don Jose Elías Andreu, who was guarding in his memory these experiences, decided in 1975 to recover the tradition buying an estate of 36 You have. In the Penedés, located in Guardiola of Font-rubí, and of name Can Campmany. There, taking advantage of the former and handcrafted facilities of the Farmhouse, vinificaron two vintages.
In 1977 he acquired another estate in The Pla del Penedès of 18 You have. About the Farmhouse of this estate, Can Respall de Renardes (18th century), constructed the current winery himself of vinificación and storage, with sufficient aptitude to elaborate the whole grape proceeding from the estates.
The current composition of the properties has been growing with the incorporation of new vineyards, up to coming at present to the 94 You have. Distributed in four estates: Can Campmany, Can Respall de Renardes, La Fanga and Camp Nou.
The common denominator of these years of consolidation has been always the love for the land, the viticulture and the quality of the gathered grape, the only way to obtain wines and qualit wine-cellars that are the reflection of the privileged nature that surrounds us.

Es una cava joven y fresco, ligero pero con firmeza, que expresa la fuerza de las dos variedades, Pinot Noir y Chardonnay con las que se elabora.
