Celler Mas de les Vinyes

Founded in 1999

Mas de les Vinyes is a familiar exploitation dedicated to the culture of the vineyard principally, but also of the olive and of fruit trees. Our family lives in the Farmhouse from the 30s when our grandparents were the householders and is in the 60s when Emilio Borràs acquires the estate turning into owner. Always wine had been elaborated in the Farmhouse; on the other hand, the grape was selling traditionally in the Cooperative of the people up to the crop of 2000, moment in which Vinyes is started elaborating in the property under the stamp Celler MMas de les Vinyes .

The wine that Mas de les Vinyes does to himself in of them is a fruit of the grape that comes only from our property, which allows us to have an absolute control of the product during the whole process. Though vineyard has been standing firm in the last years, in Mas de les Vinyes we have vine-stocks of ages understood between the 40 and 50 years, principally Robe and Cabernet Sauvignon. The principal varieties with which we work are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Robe, Cariñena and Macabeo, as well as Merlot and Syrah, planted more recently.

It is with Emilio Borràs's experience, linked from always to the world of the wine (work like enologist in the cooperatives of The Vilella Alta, The Vilella Baixa and Torroja at the end of the 50) and with the help and the knowledge of our enóloga Roser Amorós, since we elaborate our wines.
