In the family always we have been a few lovers of the wine, I imagine that for the tradition that existed in the family of my mother, since she is of La Mancha and my grandfather had a Winery years ago. The following generation did not want to be able anything of the wine mas there of the enjoyment it be drunk, but finally the granddaughter has taken again it. They say that the madness a generation skips always! In this sector much is said that the idea of being employed at the wine arises because you want to do " of the vice a trade ".

The estate that occupies just now " Señorío de Val Azul" bought my family in the year 1998 and we plant eight hectares of vineyards without the idea of elaborating wine. As I was putting the head in the world of the enology and viticulture, I realized that the nice of this project is what initially looked like to me a problem and it had me absent-minded enough.

Unlike what it was accustomed, in the viticulture and enology not all sound absolute truths; two ways of elaborating the wine totally different give different but equally good results, which turns it into something very creative where you can stamp your personality at the moment of a wine elaborates that it is sure that it is different from the one that any other technician would elaborate. On the other hand, there are variables that you cannot control since it can be the climate, soil, etc., so that, every year, there are a few challenges different from which to face and the resultant wine is always different. Certainly, always with a scientific clear base. What we try to do in Val Azul's Dominion is to create a wine with the personality that stamps his soil, his climate, his makers … that does not look alike to no other, that is to say, looking for our own definition of wine.
