Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos
Aalto was founded in 1998 by Mariano García (of Wineries Mauro and previous enologist of Vega Sicilia) and Javier Zaccagnini (Wineries Ossian), with the economic support of several investing enthusiasts of the qualit wine. Mariano García is the enologist of the Winery and Antonio Moral, the person in charge of viticulture.
They possess 42 hectares of areas of the first quality in three subregions of the Ribera del Duero, two in the province of Valladolid and one in the province of Burgos. Of them, 32 are estates placed in hillsides that they replanted with old clowns of thin red wine. 10 remaining hectares, vineyards of more 60 years that they acquired in the province of Burgos and of which performances obtain bajísimos 2.500 kg / hectare.
The vintage is realized of manual form and in small boxes; once in the Winery it is selected in two tables of selection.

Designation of Origin RIBERA DEL DUERO
32 months in French oak barrels, 3 months in bottle. This is one of the best wines of Spain. This wine is only made in great vintages and limited production due to the thoroughness with which the grapes are selected from vineyards almost centenarians. Following careful process, the wine rests 32 months in new French oak barrels. Once bottled, rests a few months to finish rounding.
