The winemakers of Formentera have specialized in the production of red and rose wines, whose characteristics are known and praised both by residents and by visitors to the island. They are generally high alcohol wines. Red wines, mostly young, are characterized by their high layer, color currant and violet hues are bright, clean and can see a tear dense and slow. In the olfactory phase primary flavors predominate, especially ripe strawberries or currants and stewed fruit: plum or fig. The palate is robust wines, full-bodied, tannic, well structured and balanced. The aftertaste is long and fruity nature.
