Graves
Graves is a wine region in the wine region of Bordeaux, in southwestern France. It is situated on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, just southeast of Bordeaux.
The importance of soil for these wines is felt in the very name of the wine country, it is the only area in whose name reflects the type of soil: "les Graves de Bordeaux".
Well known for its wine known as claret (wine color that makes little like red wine) and its dry white wine.
