AOC Graves Supérieures
Supérieures Graves AOC is an appellation which covers almost the entire Graves wine area, as Graves AOC unless the Supérieures is valid for sweet white wines and AOC Graves for red wine and dry white.

Covers most Graves: Located on the left bank of the Garonne river, just southeast of Bordeaux.

Major: Sauvignon, Sémillon, Muscadelle
Types wine
- Sweet white wine. The best known is the municipality of Sauternes, which is located at the southeast corner of the Graves region. It must contain, without fortification, 195 grams of natural sugar. After fermentation, the wine must have a natural alcoholic strength of 12.5% and a minimum of 18 grams of residual sugar per liter.
Planting Requirements
Base Performance. The performance allowed is 40 hectoliters per hectare.
