Marqués de Riscal Reserva
The Marqués de Riscal reservations are made basically from grapes coming from vines over 15 years of Tempranillo, located at the top of calcareous clay soils the Rioja region. This variety holds up well the oak aging and bottle aging thanks to its good acid balance and its fine tannins. Graciano and Mazuelo varieties, whose percentage in the mixture does not exceed 10%, adding freshness and vibrancy of color. Riscal's reserves remain approximately two years in American oak barrels, forming a wine that fits within the canons of classicism Rioja, cool, fine, elegant and great aging potential.
