Alto Moncayo receives 100 points Parker for two of its wines
On November 8, 2013 was published in the American Taster web págima world's largest Robert Parker that Bodegas ALTO MONCAYO had 100 points in two of his vintages Alto Moncayo 2007 and Alto Moncayo 2009.
Parker shares his impressions and thoughts about this wine grenache only from very old vines and low yields. Saying "I did not know to what extent Alto Moncayo wines had so much longevity".
In his tasting note says: "This wine is full bodied, concentrated, very powerful, with a remarkable precision undeniable minerality, with great concentration and intensity". Describing its aromas and flavors of black fruit, raspberry, blackberry, kirsch and licorice characteristics.
Parker claims that Alto Moncayo wines are wines for aging, seem to have 20-30 years of aging potential, but says that its peak is usually between 8 and 15 years like the vintage 2006.
