Cooperative San Isidro S.C.C.L.M., it is located in the municipal area Mahora, province of Albacete, belonging to the region of the Manchuela.
It was constituted in the year 1957, his principal activity is the Production and Commercialization of wines. At present, the Cooperative is integrated by 320 partners approximately, of both sexes, being the majority families of the people of Mahora, which live exclusively of the agriculture, being therefore this his principal source of income.
The partners of the Cooperative possess 1.200 hectares of vineyard of the varieties Tempranillo, Monastrel and Airén between others. Of here there are obtained the white and stained wines and the famous pink wine, of a great prestige in the region. In case of the production of white wine, the principal used variety is Macabeo.
The bottles are commercialized down El Marquesado.
At present, this food-processing industry possesses a few modern facilities of production. Inside this process of modernization of the Cooperative it is necessary to indicate the construction of a room of aging wine in casks of French oak, that they will give to our wines this note of quality that demands the market and the most demanding palates.
