La Aliaguilera, S.C. del Campo

Founded in 1948

The Sociedad Cooperativa del Campo "La Aliaguillera", was constituted on June 16 of 1.948, being his end of uniting the efforts of sixty pioneering farmers of this Aliaguilla's cooperative movement, managing this way the power to elaborate and to commercialize his agricultural products without the need to have to depend on other persons foreign to our wine zone.

From his foundation it has had several social names as well as a notable increase of the number of partners and of production. Nowadays it consists of 150 partners and a capacity for five million kilos of grape. It is necessary to emphasize the constant renovation of machinery and facilities to be able like that to elaborate wines of high quality, as the current market demands; and everything thanks to the effort of all the partners.

Historically we are producers of stained wines of the variety Bobal, but at present we have in march plans of restructuring of the varieties Tempranillo and Tintorera.

As our geographical situation to 900 meters on the level of the sea we have a very specific microclimate to obtain a few wines with high place contained in matter colouring, extract and total acidity, because of the strong thermal variations and of the scanty existing pluviometría in the summer period.

The total of our production is commercialized on the domestic market by the assiduous knowledgeable clients of the quality of our wines.
