Coma Romà is the culmination of a wine project with 700 years of ripeness. Coma Romà is an exclusive brand of ecological wines, done with many dedication for the family Guilera de Sant Pau d'Ordal, in the Penedés. The process begins with a biological culture certified in the own estate. It continues harvesting only the best grapes, selecting a small part of the production in the precise moment. Hereinafter, in the Winery, the last technology is combined by the wisdom of the received inheritance. For example, respecting the lunar phases. And finally, the wine is commercialized of exclusive form, always across professionals.
This way, under control of the whole complete cycle and the nature as allied, the only wine is obtained. They are bottles of high quality, which incorporate the whole philosophy of life and work. With this one spirit, the maker Josep Guilera Rimbau renews a generation mas the love for the land of l'heretat Khan Guilera.
One gives the singularity of which the farmhouse has supported the same name throughout his 700 years. In addition, the whole lineage Guilera, very spread over the region, has his origin in this house pairal. An initially isolated farmhouse and today placed in the people of Sant Pau D'Ordal Siete centuries behind, the activities princpiales of the estate were the culture of the vineyard, of the olive tree and of the cereals.
Since then, the family Guilera has worked the vine-stocks hotly and has elaborated wines with mastery. Even it had own shop in Barcelona, in the 30s.
