Dominio de Pingusis a very small Winery located to 30 kilometres of Roa (Burgos). There there are elaborated the wines most looked of Spain and possibly of the entire world. His small production they turn it into one of the scantiest and exclusive wines of Spain.
Peter Sisseck is Pingus, an agricultural engineer and enologist born in 1962 in Copenhagen, which goes bought property in Spain from 1990, achieving since then that his wines are of most valued of the entire world.
The Winery Dominio de Pingus was created in 1995 and it was a question of a project that Sisseck had in his head from it was doing already time. It is a handcrafted Winery, with a few rows of new casks, a rudimentary press, some tubs of wood and Wineries of steel. But the handcrafted production and the low production, they allow that they could exercise great care in the great quality of the final product.
The secret of these wines is in the old vineyards of Thin Red wine that are cultivated in only five hectares and in a very controlled selection.
