Our winery was founded the year 1999 after a long tradition as vine-growers during three generations.
The work of selection of a few vineyards of Robe and Cariñena led to the natural production, biodinámica and without pressure for Josep Garriga. A man who got tired of leading his taxi for Barcelona and decided to join the landscape to do a few sincere and powerful, rough and original wines...
Clos Severí and Mas del Camperol are the pure expression of a small vineyard, which does not produce any more than 9.000 Kg in total and which Josep respects to the maximum. Later, in his small winery joined an antíguo house that remembers some old courts of theatre, takes the fruit of the vineyard to his pure expression, stopping to work to the autochthonous yeasts and doing without chemical products.
It manages to transmit in these wines the personal effort, the complicity with the nature and the calmness that is breathed in this corner hidden from the Priorat. There is no hurry to extract one add to the market, when the wines feel prepared, they see the light without very much uproar, only for curious and lucky that look for different wines and that support the genuineness of the land.
