Celler Cal Serrador, S.L.

Founded in 2002

In full center of the capital of the champaign, from beginning of the 19th century, there is raised the former Winery of "Cal Batllevell", formed by two small domed stays of limy rock by meetings mortars of lime to few underground meters. In 1986, Miquel Rosell decides to embark in the nice one, and simultaneously complicated, world of the champaign. Supporting the former Winery, the ground floor and plant basement are remodelled giving like proved the current Winery in two plants and the room of expedition.

The cavas elaborated by Rosell Gallart have bet always for the Brut Nature of long upbringing without any added one, supporting the method and traditional character, but being able to adapt progressively to the modernity and the new times.From a few totally manual beginnings, up to the current semiautomatic line of degüelle, the facilities have been modernizing and improving, but the processes and the secrets of the tiraje and the upbringing have been kept intact, betting always for the optimization of a traditional process and it forms a of relative does.

In 2002, it is decided to recover a former Winery of a neighboring house to initiate one new I project, that actually were the beginnings of the history: the upbringing wine. Hereby, there is created the " Celler Cal Serrador ", a Winery semibasement of arcades of brick and with the ideal conditions of temperature and dampness for the upbringing wine VINUET in cask and later aging in bottle.
