Wineries Ramon Bilbao, S.A. was founded in 1924 though, already in the previous century, approximately in 1896, D. Ramon Bilbao Murga was commercializing the wines Ramon Bilbao and Viña Turzaballa in his Winery located in Haro's heart, turning in addition into one of the breeding pioneers of wine and great lover of this art who could transmit his generations until 1966, year in which there dies Ramon Bilbao Pozo, last descendant from the family.
This way, trying to continue D. Ramon Bilbao's tradition of elaborating wines of upbringing, in the year 1972 a joint-stock company is constituted under a new property and changes interfere, there being constructed new facilities also located in Haro, Which will happen to form a part of a family enterprise called Diego Zamora, S.A., turned into one of the major groups of drinks in Spain and that initiates a new program of modernization and adequacy of the facilities that is giving excellent fruits at present. These Wineries possess an important production of own vineyard (75 Has. In Haro and his region) besides controlled vineyard property of farmers of the zone with whom one works for many years.
All this helps to obtain that the Wineries Ramon Bilbao, S.A. is one of the five most visited of the whole D.O. Rioja.

Elaborado con 100% Tempranillo, criado en barrica de roble americano y afinado en botella en optimas condiciones. Versatil, frutoso y equilibrado. Insustituible en nuestra mesa. Fermentación por separado de cada pago y ensamblaje final de los vinos antes de la crianza y en cada uno de los trasiegos. Las temperaturas de fermentación se controlan hasta los 28-29ºC y los descubes son rápidos, cuando se aprecia que la extracción de color llega a los niveles óptimos.
