Founded in 1945
The family Palacios relies on a great wine tradition that it goes back to the last four generations. But he was Jose Palacios Remondo the real person in charge of what is today the Winery, planting the best selection of the traditional varieties of La Rioja, and taking care of the viticulture with great vocation. With a great vision of future, it prepared his children (current persons in charge of the signature) in the best French schools of enology and viticulture encouraging them to visit important Wineries of the principal producing regions of wine.
The Winery is placed in oriental La Rioja in Alfaro's wine-growing term. 100 Hectares develop on a hanging orientated long billiard cue this / south, at the foot of mountain in Yerga's Saw, to an altitude of up to 550 m. Soil of mount, rural and of arcillo-calcareous composition of scanty organic matter with abundant rolled stones and a characteristic bottom petrocálcico limits the vigor of the plants.

Palacios Remondo La Vendimia
RIOJA qualified Designation of Origin
La uva procede de viñedos propios plantados en vaso sobre la falda del monte Yerga, a unos 550 m de altitud sobre suelos arcillo-calcáreos. Para su elaboración la uva se despalilla y se aplica maceración carbónica parcial, posteriormente el mosto fermenta durante 20 días en depósitos de acero inoxidable con remontados periódicos. Finalizada la fermentación Palacios Remondo La Vendimia pasa una crianza de 5 meses en tinos de madera y barricas de roble francés. Este es el vino de entrada de la bodega en el que la fruta es el principal protagonista.
