Descendientes de J. Palacios, S.L.
The only combination of history, spirituality and environment attracted powerfully Ricardo Perez and Álvaro Palacios. In 1999 they come to Corullón moved by the illusion of stimulating his wine-growing potential.
The vineyards of the property are located in Corullón's municipality, in the mounts of the west of the Bierzo. They are 27 hectares distributed in a constellation of small letters plots of old vine-stocks on very steep and rocky soils of slate. The culture follows a discipline that aúna the organic thing and the immaterial thing in a permanent search of definition and purity.
Álvaro Palacios assembles three wineries placed in three historical regions: Palaces I Re-peel (Alfaro, DOC Rioja), Descendants from J.Palacios (Corullon, DOC Bierzo) and Alvaro Palacios (Gratallops, DOC Priorat). His wine-growing personalities condense geografías and particular climates, reflect the secular culture of the vineyard and reveal the mystical tracks of the past.
