Founded in 2004

We are a small Winery placed in the people of Méntrida, people of wide wine history that gives name to the name of origin of the northwest of the province of Toledo: D.O. MÉNTRIDA.

The Winery forms a part of the familiar house which more ancient part, the cave punctured to hand, goes back to the 17th century and in which our forbears were elaborating in vats of mud.

The current project led by Jose Benavides Jiménez - Landi and Daniel Gómez Jiménez - Landi starts in 2004 with the only aim to elaborate wines based on the respect to the environment, the tradition and the balance with our environment.

It is precisely the conviction of which the nature offers his better gifts when there is cultivated by respect the one that it leads us to realizing, in 27 hectares that we have in property, an ecological agriculture and to beginning in the practices biodinámicas. The fruits like that obtained express the characteristics of the soil and of the climate, of the land and of the sky.

Our work centres on the robe, variety reigns of the D.O Mentrida without for it to neglect other varieties that complement her as the syrah.

The philosophy in the production consists of reflecting the tipicidad of our terroir looking for the elegance and the balance in the wines.
