Bodega y Viñedos Altos de Torona belongs to H.G.A. Bodegas y Viñedos de Altura. It is located in Tomiño, in the province of Pontevedra. The farm is in Vilachan, near the sea and the River Miño.Its hillside location makes that affect neither the fog and damp of the valley, or the existing cold in the mountains. South orientation ensures good insulation, which contributes to a perfect ripening of the grapes.
The mild climate all year round, but especially in summer makes the grapes ripen slowly, consevando all important varietal aromas and acidity necessary for the production of fresh and fruity wines. The granitic soil, sandy and very permeable produces wines fine, able to highlight the most of the berries.
The wines are made in it are Albariños of subarea Rosal - Tomiño low, belonging to the DO Rias Baixas.
