winery Soutelo takes as an aim social this noble and recomforting labor of production of wine that under the brand " Cardenal Rodrigo de Castro " proposes to the market as an excellence for the most demanding of the palates.
The production of his wines carries out in one wineries rehabilitated that dates back to the 17th century and it had belonged to one of these " lordly mansions " that corroborating the good one to play the role of the ancestors it is located and designed in an exceptional way.
Placed of Bulso's parish, Sober's municipality, the capital of Amandi's subname is nailed in the Ribeira Sacra lucense. These lands that already the Romans were saying favoured, are the direct consequence not only of the exceptional orientation of the bench-covers respect of the Sun that forms a microclimate specific and adapted for an excellent ripeness of the grape, but also of the special geological characteristics of the area.
Our wine that comes from the product of this exclusive and privileged "Ribeira de Amandi", is elaborated to hundred by hundred by the variety "mencía", that in this zone acquires a few aromas and the only palates.
