Bodegas Los Martos

Founded in 2008

These wines, created initially for sale in bulk according to the customs of Albondón, area where they settle strains used for these wines, and have an annual production of more than 24,000 bottles. This is the great surprise of Martos, and his great achievement: how as soon as you have achieved such high quality wines.

The Martos strains found in the estate of the same name, located in the municipality of Albondón Alpujarras. In 2008 he sold his first crop, raised in a vineyard located about 1,000 meters above sea level. This privileged situation makes them enjoy the indoor climate of the area itself Mediterranean, with cold winters and hot, dry summers, tempered by sea breezes that cool the plants on summer nights.

These features contribute to the wine as marked alpujarreño quality and flavor peculiar and unique, thanks to the aromatic and polyphenolic slow maturation of the grapes. With two floors, winery and cellar itself, Los Martos has the most advanced technology for the production of wine, with a stemmer, a pneumatic press and drums, both stainless steel, American oak barrels, an isothermal, a machine cold, a filtering, bottling and acorchadota.

This latest generation material and excellent productivity of raw materials make it possible, today, Los Martos has earned its own right a privileged place among the new wineries Grenadines. In Bodega Los Martos working with three lines of wine: red wine barrel aging and young, pink and white. The red wine aged in oak barrels, is obtained from Tempranillo grapes by 80 percent and Syrah, the rest. For white varieties are used Vijiriega and white Jaén. The key to this wine is vintage dawn manually. For its part, rose wine is a blend of white Jaén, barking and Pedro Ximénez, with limited time and mild cold maceration traced.
