Bodega El Cortijo de la Vieja, lies the town of Alcolea about 800 meters of altitude, in the Alpujarra and is a natural unit in which cultivated 25 hectares of vineyard, Tempranillo, Grenache, Carignan, Syrah , cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat (white).
They are dedicated to the cultivation of the vine is this farm and making wines according to the customs of the area for over thirty years, using a press for oil and mud deposits. Currently, the wine is made in recently built modern facilities located in the same building. Its wines are made exclusively from the same house production payment, with native vines over 25 years and other foreign varieties of 8-10 years old.
Both in culture and in oenological practices used ecological techniques. Our culture is registered as organic. This implies submission to strict external control practices grape growing and processing wine.
