Laujar-Alpujarra is a geographical indication used to designate table wines growing zone of the Alpujarra Andalucia oriental, covering the municipalities of Alcolea, Fondón, and Laujar Andarax, in the province of Almería, Spain.
Laujar Valley, located in the upper river basin Andarax, between Sierra Nevada and the Sierra de Gador, has an area of over 800 hectares of vines cultivated in terraces on the steep slopes of the mountains, 960 meters altitude.
This GI was regulated in 2004.
