Bodega Agustín Cubero

Founded in 1881

When Agustín Cubero they constructed the first winery in 1881 in a small locality called Godojos, they would never imagine that his family in the 21st century would continue with his tradition.
Initially the infrastructures only were consisting of a network of wineries and underground alleys. One was coexisting with the wines they were spoilt and were managing to turn into the axis of his lives. The effort of his work, the illusion, together with the quality of his grapes made him follow forward his son Tomas Cubero.
The years happened and in 1953 his grandson Agustín Cubero empezo to extend, to modernize and commercialize on the national level his wines. In the year 1980 his children M ª Isabel and J.Javier, following the familiar tradition, the fondness and the illusion of his family joined his parents and several years later in 1997 transladaron Calatayud and created a new winery where up to today they have realized several extensions with wineries of stainless steel and casks of French and AmeriCan oak and possess the modern technical mas of production.

Today the family Cooper is the one that controls directly the whole winery in order that the fifth generation it continues doing equally that his forbears.
As soon as the grape acquires the degree of maturity and balance of acidity, they begin to work the different variedade, bringing together the most modern methods of control of temperature, chemical and sensory analyses for his tificación and stabilization bringing together it with the experience of our familiar tradition.
