Founded in 1985
In the year 1985, Miquel Gelabert founds the winery of production of wines that today takes his name " Vins Miquel Gelabert ", is born as a small enterprise destined to investigate and penetrate into the care of the grapevine and into the production of wines of high quality. He learns of the old vine-growers the art and the secrets of the culture of the vineyards and more artesana combines the most modern technology with the tradition with the aim to obtain the maximum of his grapes and this way to offer a few wines with personality and character.
From the first years, these wines have obtained important prizes and mentions, and are an object of big praises so much inside, like out of our borders. More than 56 prizes (the majority golden medals) in the last 10 years, support the path of the winery, and his philosophy continues being it of surprising day after day to whom it proves his wines.
