Cooperativa Santísimo Cristo del Espíritu Santo
Founded in 1915
This Cooperative was founded in the year 1915. At present it possesses 1400 partners, of whom 550 are vine-growers.
In 1997, the Cooperatives Nueva España, of Fernán Caballero and Porteña, of Puerto Lápice, they fused with the Cooperativa Santísimo Espíritu Santo of Malagón, giving place to a new winery, which preserved the name of the last one.
It possesses a few modern facilities for the receipt and grinding grape and has a capacity of storage of 8 millions and way of liters of wine in wineries of stainless steel, I steel to the carbon with resin epoxi and concrete.
The varieties that it elaborates are Airén, Cencibel and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Also it possesses a small bottling works, though it has foreseen to incorporate a new plant of bottling in the year 2001, beside constructing a few new facilities of production in Malagón.
