Founded in 1958
The Cooperative of the Field "Nuestra Señora de la Soledad" of Pedro Naharro's Source (Cuenca), constituted in the year 1958 with 59 partners and a total initial production of 2.000.000 kg of grape.
Nowadays it possesses 3.270 hectares of vineyard in production in a few lands favoured in the composition of his soils, calcáreoarenoso and bottom. The altitude is 750 m. On the level of the sea. We have a fresh climate, for what is not necessary an abundant pluviometria (about the 500 ml/anuales). The summers are warm and very dry, which allows a good ripeness of the grapes.
The natural region is an intermediate zone between La Mancha, mountainous country and moorland, is placed to the west of the province of Cuenca and borders on Toledo, Guadalajara and Madrid.
