Villafranca del Bierzo's old cooperative winery, founded in 1968, was acquired in 1990 by the family Dapena. The new direction has supported the solitary brands Don Mariano and Padorniña, promoting that of Dawns of the Bierzo and Sanchez Villarino. The winery, which continues being supplied with the vineyards of the former partners of the cooperative, it has realized investments in the modernization of the facilities, improving the lines of bottling of his wines.
