Founded in 2002
Laurent Combier, Jean Michel-Gérin and Peter Fischer, famous butlers of the French Rhone, initiate in 2002 the adventure of the Infernal Trio in Torroja de Priorat seduced by the magic of the landscape of vineyards to the feet of the saw of the Montsant, and motivated by the project identification jointly. In one of the trips, while they look for the ideal location for his project, they visit Réne Barbier (Clucks Mogador), one of the principal 'culprits' of the new Priorat, and he convinces them that that one is the perfect place to develop his dream.
The project of the Infernal Trio possesses different estates of variable antiquity. His wines are powerful and with marked mineral character. The Infernal Trio 0/3 is a white with 14 months of upbringing, based on white robe (70 %) and macabeo (30 %). The Infernal Trio 1/3 is a stained wine with 12 months in cask, elaborated based on stained robe (60 %) and cariñena (30 %). But the flagship of the winery is the stained Infernal Trio 2/3, a monovarietal of cariñena of vine-stocks of more than 70 years of antiquity, with 18 months of upbringing.
