Founded in 1998
Between the Serra del Montalt and the sea Mediterranean, near the river Ebro, already was cultivating the grapevine from times of the Iberians and the Romans.
In 1998, Joan Sabaté, his wife Elisabeth Lissner and his children David and Andreu acquired an estate placed in Tivissa's municipal area, to the feet of the Montalt, to approximately 500 meters of altitude on the level of the sea, near the magician pueblecito Templar of Llabería, and constructed there a Winery semiburied in the hillside of the valley. The property has a surface of 25 hectares and one agrees his wine-growing space on 17 hectares.
The excellent climatological conditions for the culture of the grapevine, the characteristics of the area, the density of plantation and the limitation of production, together with a rigorous follow-up in all the phases of the culture and the vinificación, constitute the bases for the production of this wine.
The cultivated varieties are cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah and robe.
In the production, the enologist Joan Ramon Mañé contributes his professionalism and great experience of more than twenty years in prestigious companies
