The winery is located in the village of La Vilella Alta, in a stone house of the eighteenth century, renovated and fitted out as a winery. In the lower part of the building, under ground level, is the aging room, with oak barrels and crates of bottled wine aging. On the middle floor is the wine room, with presses and fermentation tanks, and the upper floor area of shipping and receiving visits.
La Vilella Alta is a small town north of the Priorat region, located almost in the center of the territory of the Denomination of Origin. It has 141 inhabitants and is situated at a height of about 350 meters in front of the mountains of Montsant (1,100 meters), and surrounded by the mountains of the Sierra de Prades and Llaveria. All the municipality has a very uneven relief with steep slopes, which force the vines growing on slopes or terraces.
