The origin of the elaborating one places in the year 2000 when Pelayo de la Mata decides to give the jump of La Rioja to the D.O. Ribera de Duero and to raise a Winery " taken care to the maximum ", as indicated the enologist of the same one, Jorge Peique, who in addition made clear that one year later they began to prepare the area and to plant part of the vineyard later to initiate the works of the building of the Winery that was inaugurated in May, 2006, though the first one adds goes back to the crop of 2003.
