Founded in 1989
Supported his 60 years of experience inside the sector, wineries AND VINEYARDS CASTRO VENTOSA it centres his activity on the crop, production and commercialization of wines of high quality. This company of familiar character initiated his gait dedicated to the manufacture of bulk wines, which was selling for the whole Galicia. Later, with the entry of the third generation in the company in 1989, it starts bottling the wines of the house, under the brand CASTRO VENTOSA .
The signature elaborates a wide range of products, under the brand CASTRO VENTOSA, between that they stand out: young wines, red wine of the variety Mencia (D.O. Bierzo), whites (Chardonay, 100 % Gewurztraimer) and the Muscatel tiny grain. As innovation for this year, the winery presents the white with Chardonay Germut fermented in cask, and a red wine that will be thrown in Christmas (Cabernet Sauvignon Mencia and Shyrak).
Today, wineries AND VINEYARDS CASTRO VENTOSA it distributes his wines in the whole national territory and exports, 30 % of his production, Germany, England and The United States. With a view to the future, the principal bet of the signature is to continue elaborating an own, different product and of quality, and to regulate the market by means of the price.
