Founded in 1999

This Winery takes advantage of the quality of his centenary vineyards for the production of wines of high range from his foundation in 1999.

The origin of the Winery Teso Blanco is relatively recent. Constituted in 1999, actually the current persons in charge of the company the only thing that they are doing is to continue the familiar tradition. Juan Michael Fuentes Sardón, current person in charge of the Winery, is the third generation of wine merchants. His father, and before the father of his father, there worked the same vineyards that now he exploits and of which it extracts red wines as the already mentioned SexMil edition Summa and the Brochero 15 months in cask, another great commercial advantage of the Winery.

To the margin of the familiar experience in the process of production of the wine, the great secret of Teso Blanco are his vineyards. Cultivated following a totally traditional managing, some vine-stocks of Fuentes Sardón go more than two hundred years producing a few excellent grapes of the variety tempranillo. A few vineyards bicentenarios that scarcely produce 250 grams of grape for vine-stock, but that give to the wines of high range of the Winery a variety and a complexity impossible to reach with young vineyards.

These grapes convert to the wines Brochero 15 months into cask and SexMil into a few wines of color cherry intensely, almost opaque, with deep and complex aromas, with mineral and fruit-bearing recollections. In mouth they are beefy with very marked and mature tannins. Both, though especially the second one, is convenient to open and to praise them with many anticipation to improve his conditions them.
