Founded in 1920

Wineries LUQUE S.A. Luque Campos was founded as far back as 1.920 by don Jose Luque Campos, father of the current owners, with the name of Wineries. It began in the business of the wine with the purchase of small items of boots of American oak, which it refilled with the wines of the zone, of great quality and delicacy.

The great acceptance of the wines of Wineries Luque Campos, did that both the facilities and the number of boots of upbringing were remaining small, for what the Winery, placed in the street of Las Higueras it had to go on, in the decade of the 70, to the current location in the street of La Molinera.

They are the children of D. Jose Luque (Jose, Rafael, Manolo and Jesus), which take charge of the Winery as soon as this one expires in 1.975. With great effort and capacity of work, since always, they modernize the facilities, extend the number of boots of upbringing, the machinery of vintage, of treatment, packed so much in bottles as in bag in stall, etc.

At present one possesses a modern Winery in the form of work and simultaneously a traditional Winery in the way of understanding the upbringing of the wines. To give this quality and delicacy so looked in the today wines and what is more important, to support it in the time, Wineries Luque S.A. possesses approximately 4.000 boots of American oak for the upbringing of his wines.

The wines elaborated by Wineries Luque S.A. are protected by the name of origin Montilla-Moriles, being characterized, nevertheless, inside this one, for acquiring a smoothness and delicacy that plays the role them different from the rest from those of the zone, due to the fact that the location in full Nature reserve of the SubAndalusian Saws, he awards Dona Mencía of an ideal microclimate for the upbringing of thin wines.
