Founded in 2003
Winery EL TESORO, S.C. was founded in the year 2003. It is composed by 15 vine-growers of Benavente's Valleys who contribute 45 hectares of own vineyard, circumstance that allows the Winery a follow-up and control of the same one.
This project is born of the illusion for recovering the tradition and to be able to play the role of the peoples of this place. It possesses the most modern technologies of vinificación, what obtains a few singular wines.
The predominant grape is Tempranillo, but also we rely on the variety Prieto Picudo, autochthonous of the zone, that there is characterized by his small and compact cluster what contributes an excellent relation husk - must, an extraordinary quality for the production of qualit wines.
