For the production and upbringing of the wines of Castillo de Monjardín 4.000 have been constructed m2 of ships, with a difference of 12 meters, in such a way that every ship places to against area in his north part, guaranteeing this way a few constant levels of temperature and dampness.
Difference that makes possible to avoid the use of bombs that alter the wines. His front strength recalls the palaces Navarrese ones of the 17th century. Castillo de Monjardín, created in 1988, capture his name of the fortification raised in the 9th century for the Arabs, being in a strategic place of the Way of Santiago.
