Winery Dehesa de los Canónigos, S.A. is the most former Winery that of the hand of the Family Cid, has achieved exquisite wines under the D.O. Ribera del Duero.
Dehesa de los Canónigos is a project that it is born in the year 1989, date of incorporation in the D.O.. Luis Sanz Busto already at the time had the sight put in the vineyard: it looks for the personality for his wines and decides the percentage of participation of varieties, 85 % Dyes of the Country (Tempranillo), 12 % of Cabernet Sauvignon and 3 % of Albillo.
The advice enológico puts it in hands of a recognized enologist, D. Antonio Sanz Moro, and in the year 1998 Sanz-leader begins to form a part in the Technical Direction of the Winery Belén Sanz-Cid Busto, the Winery elaborates: Dehesa de los Canónigos Upbringing and Dehesa de los Canónigos Reserves, standing out on the market Reserves 1998, crop qualified like Very good, of which only 70.000 bottles have been extracted, as well as a Crianza of 1999.
20 % of the production, is destined to the exterior market (Puerto Rico, New York, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Andorra), and 80 % to the whole Spain, centring his distribution on shops specialized in wines and on the best restaurants.

Reserva 2001. It is one of the wines of the Ribera del Duero that gives entry into the assembly to the cabernet sauvignon (in percentages just above 10%) and a minimal presence of the local white albillo. Aged for 24 months in American oak barrels toasted medium, medium-high, one and two years old.
