Founded in 1997

Our history begins with own ours, being able to begin when we knew ourselves; Nancy Castro Rodríguez and Constancio Ballesteros Magán, initiating the studies of enology, science that us captivated both. Together we study, in the year 1990, in a place of La Mancha, as would say Cervantes, of whose name I do not want to remember.

This way so at the beginning of the summer of 1997 we decide to leave everything and to begin a new adventure. The same summer we start preparing the small winery that had the family where it was elaborating his grapes for the own consumption and that was located in a few caves excavated in Bellido's mountain.For then, it was not doing a lot of time that was working the D.O. La Palma, of which we took refuge in the same year, we begin the vintage October of the same year and with scanty means, both for the production and for the bottling, we put on the market the first bottle of wine. In March of following year, we commercialize four thousand bottles of white, mixture of Listan and Albillo, as well as twelve thousand of red wine, Negramol and Prieto, with very good acceptance.

Being these, the beginning in outline of our recent history, which was of everything less easy.Also they were the beginning of the revival of a wine region, where till then, it was not pensable that today was managing to turn into an important region into the island of The Palm and into quite Canaries, where nowadays there are seven important wineries sought protection of the D.O. La Palm and where it has recovered and extended the vineyard in less than ten years.

At present, thirteen years later, we can say that we are not wrong on having begun this project, are still united, doing what we like, being lucky of being able to enjoy and live with our family in a paradise without equally. We feel proud to collaborate in the maintenance of a landscape and form of life.
