The Winery Belondrade, S.L. was founded in 1994, with the idea of moving the Burgundian technologies to the grape verdejo.

Directed by Didier Belondrade, a Frenchman in love with Spain, that interested in the autochthonous grape verdejo and his felt aptitude to the upbringing, elaborates in 1994 his first crop of BELONDRADE YLURTON with a production of 10.000 bottles. Thirteen years later the average of production for crop is 80.000 bottles.

Belondrade y Lurton

Designation of Origin RUEDA

Fermented and aged on the lees in French oak barrels of 300 liters. Each parcel is fermented and raised separately. At the end of 10-12 months aging for making a selection and assemblage. As a minimum stay 6 months in bottle. Average annual production of 80,000 to 90,000 bottles, 495 magnums (1.5 liters) and between 70 and 100 double - magnums (3 liters).

Regional Wine of CASTILLA Y LEON

Comes partly from the first selection of barrels Belondrade and Lurton, in part, from grapes from young vines that ferment in storage. Average yield 36,000 to 42,000 bottles.

Regional Wine of CASTILLA Y LEON

Developed as a light red wine 100% tempranillo. This wine is fruity nose, color grenade, and intense in the mouth is designed as a light red wine, ideal to accompany any meal of the summer. 7000-9000 average production bottles.
