Founded in 2003

The evening of February 1, 1953, the Pro-cooperative commission, unitedly with the neighboring assistants, they reminded the constitution of the Agricultural cooperative " San Jaime Apostol ", with 122 partners, after noticing the importance that this fact would have for all.

In the year 1954 it was putting in functioning on the Cooperative, to the building that faces this one in I use nowadays. His principal activities were the production i the commercialization of oil and of wine.

In 1998 l'Agrobotiga is created, where they can find the products that are elaborated in the Cooperative, as well as others of the people and of the region.

In the year 2000, Ulldemolins's wine, it stops concerning to the D.O. Tarragona, to begin to form a part of a D.O. of new creation: the D.O. Montsant.

During the year 2003 there is realized the last extension of the Winery and of the mill, and in the campaign of 2003/04, the Cooperative starts packing his wine and relies on the help of an enologist that it gives support to the tasks of production.

In 2005 the Cooperative Agriculturalist Sant Jaume Apòstol, S.C.C.L., he happens to be named An Agriculturalist of Ulldemolins Sant Jaime, S.C.C.L..

Nowadays the cooperative possesses 162 partners, 98 of which are active (they take fruit) and 64 surpluses (pensioners or they do not take fruit). The principal conreo is that of the olive tree, with a surface of approximately 400 hectares, and the production ranges about the 200 tonas of oil between the ecological one, the conventional one and that of integrated production, i The Flood is commercialized under the SO. Also wine takes place, between 100 and 150 k. a year. 85 % is black and 15 % is white.
