Founded in 2006

Our modern facilities were inaugurated in the year 2006, substituting the former familiar winery where, during many generations, our wines and residues were elaborated. Thanks to our friends and clients we continue growing and during this year we expect to inaugurate the extension of our winery.

Far from what many people believe, Crego and Monaguillo was born almost 50 years ago. It was a May when a young person used of Fenosa visited the Salgueira to see the way of taking the light to the people. Since it was logical the Pedáneo went to the local Authority. After this first meeting great others came, and little by little, this young person was entering the life of this family. Together seven children produced and together they started doing wine.

As the years went by these children were growing. One of them became a priest (Crego) and other one ... half An Monaguillo. These, cone could not be differently, they inherited the passion for the world of the wine. Certainly! They if they agreed ... not even the wine of one not as other one was using for anything ..!

The Priest (Crego), who is little sibarita, he liked the good wine (if it was a better reservation still) and the Monaguillo, who learned in the same books ditto of the same thing, but to these two prominent figures him there were pleasing the challenges (for strange and difficult that they seem) and in one of these nights of wine and ludicrous ideas, there happened what had to happen, Porqué do not we do a winery?? He said the Crego, we would do wine for us and our friends, and if something stays that carallo!! We sell it.

With 2003 our first wine came to the market. And as good Marova says, if he cannot be a little an acquaintance, then that is anything big. On not having been able to continue in the old winery we had to do something … big! Of what he and Pepe (our darling Pepe) there above were feeling proud.

We think about many places where to locate the new winery, but!! The subconscious again in the Salgueira!! The patriarch said and ... word of him, ORDERS for all of us.
